Are You Thirsty

Frustration merged with Anger then suppressed to Boredom while Hope is triggered and Happiness collapsed!

Thats how much of roller-coaster of emotions I went through as I watched the Magic vs. Cavaliers game earlier today. It was just sad how they were playing at first. I had trouble keeping my eyes on the screen because every time I looked up from my plate (since I was eating breakfast) someone was either struggling to hold on to the ball or throwing up a 3 which fell short. I just always get so tangled up into the game when I'm watching it because I just love Basketball so much!

I'm glad that coach Stanley Gundy sat the starting 5 down because I completely agreed with him that they were not playing like they wanted to win. Even though LeBron James wasn't on the court the Cavaliers were still playing aggressively and intense, yet Magic was laid back and cooling it. The cameras caught some shots of Howard just looking so upset while seating on the bench and Lewis looking lost! Haha! All in all I'm glad they finished strong and came out with a win. Final score was 98 - 92! Yes Magic won! I need to play with the thirst for the game on their fingertips!! Thats how we are going to win and take it to the finals!!

Tiger Did As He Should

Tiger Woods has returned back to the hills, which he loves so much! He did a wonderful job this Thursday. He played with the same skill and precision as he always has. Tiger Woods opened the tournament breaking 70 and shooting a 4-under which lead him to trail 50-year-old Fred Couples by only two shots. This was Tiger Woods' first appearance back to gold since 144 days due to the sex scandal that surfaced and caused him to leave the game.

Yet did you expect less of Tiger Woods? Let's honestly think about this, Tiger got caught cheating and left. Okay...Did you catch that? The key word in that statement is caught. Tiger leaving didn't have anything to do with golf nor his talent, it had to do with his personal life. I'm not saying that it was right because clearly it was wrong, but why did people expect for him to play badly or even expect for him not to play at his same level?!? Tiger has been cheating on his wife for a very long time now and since he got caught and ruined his perfect family image, he did what people expected him to do and that was get help. Tiger wasn't going to stop and it wasn't throwing his game off either. Tiger left to please every single one of us and to make us say "Oh yea he messed up but at least he is getting help for it and trying to fix things within his marriage."

All I'm saying is that, we should have expected Tiger to do a good job because that is what he does. He didn't lose his skill, he just lost his morals and values (well in our eyes).

Canada defeats USA 3-2 in OT

The Olympic games have really been outstanding this year. For the first time, I found myself watching ice hockey! It was the most thrilling and action packed game. I didn't realize how similar (in a physical point of view) ice hockey is to football! We really did try and I saw the guys working hard, elbowing and speeding up. They were pushing and shoving! Yet even with all that we just couldn't hold our ground when it came to the puke.

Even though I wanted USA to win, we just couldn't pull it through. The Canadian team kept hitting Miller with shot after shot! He did the best he could but where was the rest of the time?!? I felt bad when I saw Ryan Miller (USA goalie) shed a few tears after Sidney Crosby got a shot passed right into the goal.

I was proud that we took it into overtime, just wish that USA would of pulled it in! But hey ...... silver is okay. It was an honor to be in the top two.

Check out the following site for a full story on the game! :)
